ABOUT ME
I have been practising yoga since 2003, and I love sharing the joys and benefits of this rich and beautiful practice with others.
Yoga has helped me through numerous life changes – from losses, to pregnancy, to motherhood, grief – and general day-to-day living. When things get challenging, my practice is there to ground and support me in mind, body and spirit. It helps me to face difficulties with humility, resilience and grace.
I qualified to be a yoga teacher in 2014, and I have been teaching both group and private classes ever since. I am also a qualified yoga therapist. I did my 550+ hours yoga therapy diploma training with Yogacampus (accredited by the British Council for Yoga Therapy), and I am a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. I am also a registered yoga therapist with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
I love establishing deep and meaningful connections with others. I have worked with individuals of different ages, in
various roles and stages of life.
Yoga therapy can help with many conditions, and my areas of special interest are working with those directly and indirectly affected by cancer; women's health and mental health.
Online yoga classes and yoga therapy sessions are now available. Please contact me to book an appointment.

What is a Yoga Therapist ?
Most people know what a yoga teacher is. But what exactly is a yoga therapist?
For me, a yoga therapist is someone who helps you live your life the best way possible as you deal with specific health issues, using the philosophies and practices of yoga.
As your yoga therapist, I will support you and listen to you while holding a safe, open and non-judgemental space where we can work together to meet your goals. We will work at a pace and level that is suitable and comfortable for you, and we will review and assess your progress.
I want to make a difference in your day-to-day life by making yoga accessible, doable and enjoyable.
Together, we will come up with a personalised plan that meets your specific requirements and lifestyle, and you can then continue to practise wherever and whenever appropriate.
Why Yoga Therapy ?
Many people I know are affected by various health challenges such as anxiety, diabetes, cancer, addiction and chronic conditions. And I really want to help in the best way I know how: by sharing yoga.
I decided to go into yoga therapy to learn more about how yoga’s tools and philosophies can be specifically and practically applied to address various health conditions. I wanted to delve into the science and research behind why yoga makes a difference in our health and well-being.
In clinic and my private practice, I have helped clients dealing with various health concerns including lower back pain, asthma, cancer, IBS, fibromyalgia, women's health issues, anxiety, grief and stress.

My Yoga Therapy goals...
I would like to help take yoga therapy into the mainstream and the realms of the NHS and GP surgeries. The idea of combining yogic practices with modern medicine to improve an individual’s overall well-being makes so much sense. They are not mutually exclusive. Together, they are a powerful and effective means of moving an individual towards healing and optimal health, allowing them to live their best possible lives. I'd like to continue learning, growing and sharing so that I can better serve you.
